Trace Spann is a 2024 2B/C, SS, MIF with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Grand Prairie, TX who attends Lake Ridge. Ran a 7.15 60 yard dash. Athletic build and has a solid run tool with good feel on the bases. On the mound, has long arm action with a medium lift. His fastball was up to 78 MPH and paired it with a curveball that was at 68 MPH. Good glove actions in the field, has the versatility to play multiple spots. At the plate, has a simple swing with quick hands. Uses the whole field well and shows good barrel control. Swing stays on plane well and swings with good intent. His highest exit velocity was 75 MPH. Great student.
