JD Wolff is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Small to medium frame with a lean build proving to be athletic in his actions. Ran a 7.29 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, quick first step as he rounded the baseball well. Clean gather as he works well through it. Quick transfer and released a bit uphill as he threw it 79 mph. Instincts present and will make strides with a strength gain as he is fundamentally sound. Left-Handed Hitter, balanced and in line as he works into a smaller leg lift to stride. Gets some bat tilt while creating separation. Fires the hips and hands as he generated above average bat speed. Advanced bat on ball skills as he peppered the baseball around the diamond. Simple cut as he knows his strengths in the box. Was also instinctual on the paths in games as he stole bags at will. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
