Jonah Richardson is a 2024 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Carlisle, PA who attends Boiling Springs. Strong athletic build with some projection left. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Corner infielder on defense, shows good body control at both third base and first base, fields the ball cleanly with good balance at the ball, big arm strength across the diamond and makes accurate on line throws with plus carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a low hand load, big hanging leg raise trigger, lots of moving parts before he starts his swing to create timing inconsistency, lower half rotates well to drive his bat speed, showed some pop to the pull side when on time, will continue to improve offensively with pre-swing adjustments. Also pitched, works exclusively from the stretch with a fast paced delivery and low 3/4's arm slot, good delivery sequence and he repeats his mechanics well. Fastball sat in the mid 80's with good arm side running life, throws to spots with his fastball. Slider and change up were quality secondary pitches, slider had solid 10/4 sweeping life in the mid-70's, change up had hard diving life. Two-way prospect. Very good student. Named to the Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
