Nathan Thach is a 2026 1B/RHP/C with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Brookwood. Physical and strong build. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Showed lots of versatility throughout the workout portion. Primary first-baseman, deliberate overall actions with a two hand gather and deep funnel. Delivered strong throws across up to 78 mph. Worked out in the outfield, works methodically and sits back on it a tad. Showed a solid arm with throws up to 80 mph. More urgency and faster clock will help improve overall results. Also caught, utilized a high side saddle stance. Posted an impressive 2.05 pop time with strong and accurate throws up to 72 mph. Hopped on the mound as well. Showed a three-pitch mix working up to 78 mph with a quick shoulder. Lacked general feel to spin a breaking ball, but showed lots of comfort in a solid changeup. At 70 mph, the offering showed late depth and fade and he proved to be able to generate whiffs with it. Right-handed hitter, put together a nice round and showed lots to work with. Made tight turns while flashing some bat speed. Releases the barrel and creates good length resulting in a couple well-struck balls in the gap. Overall size and compactness is enticing moving forward. Has some skills all over the field and will only improve with time and maturity.
