Blake Wheatley is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-6 110 lb. frame from Cambridge, MD who attends St. Michaels. Slender young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger into contact, good base swing to grow into, bat speed and barrel control will continue to improve with additional strength. Primary middle infielder on defense, has smooth footwork and moves well for his age, puts himself in position to field the ball cleanly, good arm action with some quickness in his release, nice overall infield actions for a seventh grader. Good student.
