Brandon Toadvine is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Rhodesdale, MD who attends North Dorchester. Good frame with good muscular development, especially for his class with athletic actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.71seconds. Primary position LHP but took reps in the OF and at 1B in this event. 1B moving good on his feet and showing comfort around the bag. Present the glove well and shows smooth actions. Appropriately short arm action here and building impressive 79 mph velocity across the field. Reps in the OF, working methodically to the ball and squaring up well. Full arm path and the ball gets out good here too with feeds up to 79 mph once again. LHH with a wide base and higher handset and bigger hanging leg lift. Unique load with his hands that works for him and active pre-pitch mechanics. Strong hands and impacts the ball with some natural loft. Bat speed is present and there is some good offensive projection longterm. Good student.
