Julian Braga is a 2025 C/1B with a 6-0 208 lb. frame from Port Orange, FL who attends Spruce Creek. Big and physical build with well proportioned strength in the frame. Left-handed hitter, balanced setup with a slightly open front side and the hands set around the shoulder. Knee lift trigger stride gets the swing started, tight turn into contact with effortless bat speed and strength t the pull-side, simple swing with obvious feel for the barrel and ability to use the whole field. Primary catcher, higher setup with a squared stance, good receiver, quick exchange and a compact arm action to a higher release point and generates carry out of the hand. Was accurate around the bag with solid arm strength and looked solid in game as well. Recorded a pop-time of 2.04 and throws up to 73 mph out of the crouch. Great student. Verbal commitment to Pittsburgh.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
