Gage Thompson is a 2025 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Puyallup. Nice athletic build with good present strength and more to come. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Moves well on defense in the infield with good balance and soft hands, showed big arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter, has a simple swing approach with a low tension swing, stays compact and direct to the ball, big bat speed at times and can put a charge into the ball, especially to the pull side. Talented all around baseball player with some young polish to his game and plenty of tools. Would be interesting to see on the mound as well. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
