Cooper Schutte is a 2024 OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Lamar. Long and projectable athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Very good speed, 6.75 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, aggressive going to the ball in the outfield, gets low and gets his glove in position well, long over the top arm action, can improve his throwing mechanics. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a long hard stride into contact, rotational upper body swing and will pull off his front side early at times, has some lift out front when he gets the barrel out front. Very good student.
