Conlin Grady is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 5-9 162 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard South. Primary left-handed pitcher with a young frame and slender build that has room to fill out and add strength. Starts from the stretch with a belt high leg lift, creating good linear direction down the mound before falling slightly to the glove side at foot strikes. Has a longer arm action, showcasing developing arm speed from an over the top slot. Fastball has good, downward plane at 75-78 miles per hour, working to the knees and locating with consistency. Has developing feel to spin a curveball with 1-7 shape and developing depth through the zone. Best when on time and out front with that pitch. Also shows feel to land a fading change-up for strikes at 70 miles per hour, commanding the zone well and pitching to contact. Left-handed hitter that starts from a slightly open stance, showcasing a longer path to contact and rotational lower half. Has a high-contact approach with a line drive barrel plane. Good student.
