2022 Pitcher / Catcher Indoor Showcase
Colin Brown is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 155 lb. frame from Hannibal, MO who attends Hannibal. Long and lean high waisted build, young look with plenty of time to fill in and get stronger, lots of physical projection ahead. Medium length arm circle, step by step directional delivery, 3/4's arm slot, tends to come across his body at release. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, gets some cut and sink due to his release. Curveball flashed some shape and spin and will keep improving with increased arm speed. Right handed hitter, sets up wide with a reverse toe tap trigger, has some hand quickness and gets the barrel into the zone hard, pull oriented swing with some lift out front, hits through the ball well, has some hitting tools to develop as he gets stronger, too. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
