2023 13U/14U Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Tyler Hager is a 2027 OF/RHP/UT with a 6-3 155 lb. frame from Wall Township, NJ who attends St. Rose. As a primary OF, Hager displayed a full deep arm stroke with whip to the action at release, ultimately topping out at 79 mph. He has plenty of projection remaining in terms of arm strength and should continue to see velocity develop nicely as the frame fills out in the future. From the IF, Hager displayed the ability to change slots with refining accuracy across the diamond up to 78 mph. On the mound, the righty generated clear running action on the FB up to 80 mph with a sharper breaker in the arsenal with good spin profile at 2324 rpm. The clean arm action translated with plenty of physical upside to like in the future. Offensively, Hager started from a wider base with a tight hand set and high back elbow, utilizing a simple stride into impact that produced solid contact to all parts of the field. He flashed the ability to create carry on the baseball with strength in the hands, posting an exit velo of 84 mph. Ran a 7.68 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
