Chase Cooke is a 2025 2B/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends St. John Paul II. A lean frame with a slender build. Ran an 8.23 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman uses a two-hand smother as he makes the pick working into the funnel. Throws got to first and made the outs. Threw 69 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter with a narrow base and a high-hand set. Has a barrel wrap to start. Uses a slight leg lift into his stride as he works into contact. Had some good impact pull-side, getting extended out front to work pull-side. Took to the mound as a right-handed hitter who worked into a leg lift, up around the belt. His fastball was up to 74 mph, and he threw it for strikes. His changeup had some arm-side fade, killing spin, throwing it in the mid-60s. His breaking ball worked up out of hand with 12-6 shape as he got over the top of it to create some depth. Slow and deliberate actions, throwing from an over-the-top arm slot. Fielded his position well during his outing. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
