Easton Bettcher is a 2025 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Lutheran South Academy. Medium frame with a younger athletic look. Ran a 7.84 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, under control actions with good fluidity, moves around easy with good angles, quick release with good timing and generates good carry across, into upper-70s on his throws. Also worked out in outfield, athletic mover with feel for working behind it with good angles, arm works well. Right-handed hitter, wide base and coiled load, works short through zone to get the barrel out, swings it hard and able to impact it well from the compact stroke, good jump to the pull side in flashes. Great student.
