Connor Truax is a 2020 OF/LHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Novi, MI who attends Novi. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.42 seconds. Hits from narrow-based stance, upright posture, whole-field approach with linear plane, hands take inside path, good contact skills, can work the other way, showed solid hand speed and barrel skills in game as well, solid approach. Worked out in the outfield, clean strides to the ball, bends to field, crossfire stride into release, clocked up to 66 mph on throws. Also pitched, solid direction to plate, lengthy arm stroke to overtop slot, fastball worked 65-68 mph with some natural cut. Very good student.
