Jackson Yarberry is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Lake Saint Louis, MO who attends Timberland. Big and physical build with plus present strength. Long arm action on the mound with a deep plunge in back, hides the ball well, has the arm speed to catch up out front, rear back and fire type of mechanics and approach. Fastball sat in the upper 80's and jumps on hitters at the plate. Showed two solid secondary pitches with a sharp mid-70's curveball that had lots of swing and miss traits, also flashed a solid change up with good arm speed. Impressive outing and a true three-pitch mix. 7.70 runner who plays first base when not on the mound and has some idea on his footwork. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a leg lift trigger and big hand gather in back, has present bat speed with a lifting power approach, has the strength to really impact the ball and showed his power. Power/Power two-way prospect. Good student. Named to the National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
