Trevor Ainsworth is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 235 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland High School. Primary right-handed pitcher with a large frame showing some physical maturity. Ran a 7.45 second sixty. Starts in a hybrid delivery on the first base side of the rubber using a short side step into a belt high leg lift with a slight coil at the top. Hands raise and drop with the leg lift breaking into a shorter arm swing to a three-quarters arm slot. Showed the fastball in the upper 80's touching 88 mph while sitting 82-86 mph with heavier arm side run. Is able to go to the curveball when he needs a strike in the mid 70's with average shape and bite. Showed a changeup in the mid 70's as well for a third pitch. Showed corner infield actions on the infield with a quick transfer out of the glove and some carry on the throws. Right-handed hitter, uses a leg lift trigger to time up the swing. Is able to get to his power mostly to the pull side with strength that plays at contact out front while using the lower half to create power from the ground up. Good student. Named to the 2023 Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
