Jack Ford is a 2022 SS/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Delmar, MD who attends Delmar Senior. Recorded a 7.71-second sixty-yard time. Long, athletic build with strength remaining to be added throughout frame. Primary shortstop, plays up on toes with some athletic twitch in his actions with good range going up the middle. Works uphill as he plays through the ball, up to 72 mph across the diamond. Showed ability to throw from various slots and make the play. Took some reps in the outfield, aggressive approach to the ball, fielding off to the side. Carried momentum through his throws well with developing arm strength, accurate throws up to 72 mph. Right-handed hitter, wide, even stance with a high back elbow. Quick, compact stroke, working to the middle of the field well. Barrel is short through the zone with consistent contract, showcasing high bat-to-ball skills. Compact hand speed, repeated his swing well.
