Dylan Bass is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Northbrook, IL who attends Glenbrook North. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Hits from even and balanced stance with high hands and back elbow, strides closed, bat speed present with lift and strength, recorded 96 mph exit velocity and has substantial power upside. Worked out in the outfield, athletic in footwork on close, takes direct route and works through with balance, clocked up to 87 mph on throws. Also pitched, long and loose arm stroke to 3/4 slot, arm speed stands out, fastball worked 84-87 mph with solid arm side life, mixed in curveball and slider with varying action, flashed a changeup as well. Legitimate two-way prospect. Very good student, committed to the University of Tampa, named to 2022 Chicago Indoor Top Prospect List.
