Chance Kirtley is a 2026 2B/3B, SS, OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball. Primary infielder with a compact build. Ran a 7.24 second sixty. Works well laterally on the infield with some quickness in the footwork. Shows soft hands with a clean funnel into accurate throws with an ability to change the arm slot well moving left and coming in on the baseball. Waits back on the ball in the outfield getting rid of it quickly with a shorter arm action. Is able to get on top of the baseball create quality carry, topping out at 82 mph. Starts in a hybrid wind up on the mound with a side step into a leg lift above the belt. Arm works on a shorter track through the back to a three-quarters arm slot. Worked with good tempo overall throwing strikes with the fastball that topped out at 81 mph. Spins a slurvy breaking ball with solid spin traits around 70 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and open stance. Uses a leg lift trigger to get the weight on the back side. Impacted the ball best to the pull side with your strength that will increase with age and maturity. Excellent student.
