2022 Sunshine West Showcase
Aeneas Pichardo is a 2024 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Burbank, CA who attends John Burroughs. Smaller frame that showed in the infield the ability to make the routine play but is still developing the arm strength. In the Outfield, he could benefit from attacking the baseball a bit more. At the plate, the bat speed is a work in progress but the bat path showed to be direct to the ball. Minimal pre-pitch movement with a calm simple load, needs improvement on finding the barrel with consistency. In a short outing on the mound he lived around zone challenging hitters to put the ball in play. The delivery is compact with short arm action. There's an advanced comfort spinning the breaking ball that showed solid depth. Forced a lot of soft contact. 7.37 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
