Christopher (CJ) Forman is a 2024 3B/RHP/IF/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Middle Island, NY who attends Longwood. Forman worked from a variety of positions on the day out of a medium build with some additional room to add strength. Starting from the OF, he attacked the ball aggressively with clean gathers and carry behind the baseball up to 74 mph. He took these mechanics to the IF where the righty showcased proper footwork as well as the ability to change arm slot depending on the play. From the bump, Forman worked out of a 3/4 slot and compact motion that exploded downhill at release up to 76 mph. He threw strikes and successfully let his defense do the job behind him. Offensively, he started from a slightly open stance with a rotational lower half that created consistent line drive contact to all parts of the field. Ran a 8.24 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
