Caden Skelton is a 2026 RHP/C, 2B, OF with a 5-10 133 lb. frame from Lake Orion, MI who attends Brother Rice. Tall, slender build with a high waist and long arms. Recorded a 7.74 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, repeatable delivery, belt high leg lift to balance, sits into back leg and drives down the slope. Short takeaway to a three-quarters slot. Fastball has some late life on it, getting up to 76 mph (2072 RPM). Curveball has 11-5 shape, can get slurvy at times, up to 65 mph (2135 RPM). Threw competitive pitches and has upside on the mound and he continues filling out. Secondary second baseman, deep funnel fielding the ball, drops into the legs, long arm swing in the back to a high three-quarters release. Looked good working to his right, throws across were accurate with good carry for the age. Recorded throws across up to 74 mph. Right-handed hitter, open front side with high hands and a high back elbow in the stance. Knee lift trigger stride gets the swing started, good balance shown throughout the cut, found the barrel often, worked best to right-center. Lots of things to like about the swing as he continues adding strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
