Charlie Rakowski is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-5 150 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Colorado Academy. Tall slender build with room to add more. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.98 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from the stretch from a low three-quarter arm slot with a full arm stroke and a whippy release. The fastball sat 75-78 mph with slight arm side run, paired the fastball with a short breaking curveball that sat 66 mph. Also worked out at first base, worked through the ball with stiff hands and soft feet, showed the ability to make the routine plays and made accurate throws. At the plate, hits from a wider slightly open stance with a simple stride to close. Displayed a soft level swing consistently driving the ball back up the middle. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
