Charlie Orman is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends El Camino. The medium sized, athletic framed INF/OF showed quality traits from both spots. In the outfield, he shows urgency to get through the ball using that momentum to create strong carrying throws to the bases. In the infield, the body projects as more of a corner profile but showed the lateral mobility and glove work of a high quality infielder. At the dish, he sets up with a narrow base that works into a hanging leg kick load. There's a slight barrel wrap that makes it hard to have consistent timing. When in rhythm he gets extended well with above average bat speed and pullside approach. He tends to get a little over rotational at times but drove balls hard to the pullside in the air. On the mound, he works with a balanced wind up and high leg kick with release coming from over the top arm slot. He hides the ball well which added deception. Additionally flashed an effective change up that produced weak contact in his second inning of work. 7.17 60 yard. Outstanding student.

Right Handed Hitting
Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
