Sean Simmons is a 2023 OF/2B with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Casa Grande, AZ who attends Casa Grande Union. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.80 seconds. Hits from wide-spread stance with loose wrists in swing, wraps barrel and hitches into load, whole-field approach, has barrel skills with clean path, projects with strength. Primary outfielder, presents glove well and works through, lower slot release on throws, clocked up to 73 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, moves well laterally, deeper funnel, up to 67 mph across the diamond. Very good student.
