Caiden Buonadonna is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Cedar Rapids. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty yard dash time. Physical frame with strength present. Primary outfielder, fields off the front foot charging well with clean footwork. Accurate throws in the air with some arm strength recording throws up to 85 from the outfield. Also threw an inning. Works from a letter-high leg kick with a longer stride down the mound. Shorter arm action with a lower three- quarter arm slot. Good backside leg drive to create whip. Coils and uncoils well with physical lower half to generate arm speed. Worked quickly in the appearance. Fastball (2158 RPM) heavy appearance going right after hitters and topping out at 83 that has some life but plays mostly straight. Flashed a curveball (2421 RPM) with 1-7 shape. Worked in on hands to right-handed hitters competed around the zone but the stuff plays as he competes in zone more. Left-handed hitter, starts from a wider base with slightly open feet and low hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a leg lift stride. Quick barrel with feel for it. Good strength off the barrel with good impact working uphill through contact. Good bat speed with carry to the pull-side to right-center field gap adding a home run during the round. Exciting two-way player with a high ceiling. Excellent student. Named to the Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
