2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Aden Argote is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, SS, OF, UT with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Terra Environmental Research Institute. Tall, extra lean frame with plenty of time to fill out and grow. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.30 seconds. Primary position IF with emerging tools across the board. Glove work was solid; reads and angles were good. Transition to release can be cleaned up and the arm is coming as he worked up to 72 mph across the diamond. RHH who showed an aggressive approach at the plate as he sprayed balls around the field working gap to gap. He gets in his legs nicely and makes his lower half a productive part of his swing. He can get a little tilted with the upper body, working up hill a touch but as he gets stronger his bat to ball skills will lead him to hitting for power. Secondary position RHP using an angled start and short arm action to create very good hand speed. His fastball showed sink and run at times as it peaked at 73 mph working both sides of the plate. He added a CB with some depth at 60 mph that should develop into a swing and miss pitch with maturity. Young athlete that will be interesting to see where his talent takes him.
