Nii Adjei Ye-Sowa is a 2023 1B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Woodland Hills, CA who attends William Howard Taft. Features a taller build with room to add. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and at first base. Caught the ball cleanly in the outfield. Showcased some arm strength, throwing 79 mph. Ball comes out well using longer arm action. Was fairly accurate with most throws. Confident hands caught the ball well at first base. Transfer cleanly into accurate throws. Arm strength played across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a high back elbow setup. Swings on a linear path through the zone. Looks to drive the ball to the pullside. Ball comes off the bat well when barreled. Still developing consistent barrel accuracy. More power should come as the frame fills out. Excellent student.
