David Womack is a 2025 RHP/SS with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Spicewood, TX who attends Lake Travis. Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic build and good length to the frame. Throws from a mid 3/4 slot with some whip in the arm. Has a quick upbeat tempo to the plate while using a high leg raise at the top of things. Coils his back to the plate causing some deception in the delivery. Explodes downhill off his back leg while maintaining good balance and gets extended with his arm allowing velocity to play up a bit. Located his fastball well around the edges of the plate. Pounded the outer half and lived there. Went to a tight sweeping slider that he could throw for strikes or get chases with. Projects really well and has an idea off the bump. Also worked from the outfield and charges the ball with intent. Made all throws with good strength and accuracy behind them. Gathers well and transfers quickly. Fielded everything to his side cleanly. From the infield, has a quick first step and moves well laterally. Clean funnel and transfer with strong accurate throws to the bag. Changes slot well and looks the part. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and even base. Gets good extension out in front working short to long well. Uses a small leg lift and stride for timing. Hands hardly move throughout the process and stays short to the ball with a level swing. Showed good ability to turn on balls with authority. Great student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
