Chase Burton is a 2023 OF/RHP, IF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Brookville, IN who attends Franklin County. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.10 seconds. Hits from even stance, simple stride and trigger, whole-field approach with linear path, solid bat to ball skills with projectable power. Worked out in the outfield, moves to ball well, lines it up and is efficient in feet, clocked up to 73 mph on throws. Also pitched, worked from stretch and threw only fastballs, stands tall on backside, fastball worked 73-75 mph with life arm side, did a nice job throwing strikes. Very good student.
