2022 Fall Midwest Workout Showcase
Brady Andrews is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Johnston, IA who attends Des Moines Christian. He has a tall frame for his age with a thin build and plenty of room to add strength as he continues to develop. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.14 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that utilizes a knee above the belt leg kick and does a nice job of working down the mound. He fires from a 3/4 arm slot and showed nice looseness in his shoulder. His fastball sat consistently at 80-81 mph and showed nice life through the zone. He works a firm slider off of the fastball that has short horizontal break with nice vertical depth. He does a nice job of disguising his changeup as a fastball and it has nice velocity difference, making it a very tough pitch to hit. Secondary outfielder that attacks the ball and fields it out in front of his body. He throws with a clean and compact arm action and is able to create nice carry on the ball. He was consistently accurate to the bases. Right-handed hitter that starts in an open stance with a high hand set. He uses a simple stride for timing and has a smooth swing through the zone. He has a line drive approach and looks to use all parts of the field. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Fall Midwest Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
