Alan Rodriguez is a 2025 C/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends True North Classical Academy. Medium, athletic build with well proportioned strength in the frame. 7.74 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher, works from a high, side-saddled stance. Smooth receiver, athletic coming out of the crouch, longer arm swing to a high three-quarters release point. Stays behind the ball well, arm is strong and accurate, recorded throws up to 81 mph and a pop-time of 1.87. Right-handed hitter with a high back elbow set in the stance. Bat wrap load, stays under control with good bat speed. Impacts the ball to the middle of the field with strength off the barrel. Swing gets long occasionally but shows the ability to stay in rhythm with big jump off the barrel. Recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Great student.
