Ryder Armstrong is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B, SS, OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Midlothian, TX who attends Midlothian. Posted a 7.79 in the 60. Primary RHP peaked his fastball at 78 with a good feel for his three pitch mix. Long, lengthy build with squared shoulders projects very well on the mound. He works out a simple operation with a low 3/4 slot generating natural sink life on the fastball living low zone effectively. Developing secondary offerings played effective off the fastball maintaining the arm action well. Defensively he is young around the field with his footwork and field awareness while showing versatility making plays at each spot. Right-handed hitter has strength to add to plate, swing plane is mostly level with a loose feel for the barrel. Should continue to develop off the mound as he progresses physically. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
