2022 13U/14U Sunshine East Showcase
Samuel Fernandez is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-1 158 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Alonso. Very good young athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread in line stance with a toe tap load, has a big nice well timed flow into contact, creates bat speed and back spin, lots of future power projection, showed power and carry to all fields, very projectable offensively. 7.91 runner in the sixty. Has lower half agility and flexibility, game actions in drills, moves well into his throws with a compact arm action and exchange, good present fundamentals and the tools to keep improving. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
