Jayden Montez is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-6 160 lb. frame from Kyle, TX who attends Johnson. Montez works out of an athletic frame with room to grow and add strength. Defensively, Montez was aggressive both in the outfield and behind the plate, creating good momentum to and through his target. He produced accurate throws out of quick compact arm motion. At the plate, Montez displayed a unique approach with a high leg lift and good separation. Cleaning up his bat path and working on quicker hands to the ball will yield greater power results in the future.
