Blake Gonzales is a 2027 3B/RHP, 2B, SS with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Casa Grande, AZ who attends Vista Grande. Features a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Showcased solid footwork on the infield with the ability to make the routine play consistently. Strong arm plays well across the diamond, reaching 79 mph during works. Produced accruate double play feeds at first base. Ranges profiles well for either corner spot. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wide base stance with balance throughout. Shifts weight well using moderate leg kick timing mechanism. Quick hands produce hard hit contact often. Has feel for the barrel present with plenty more power coming down the line. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery into slight drop and drive mechanics down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a longer arm action. Fastball sat 80-84 mph with ride. Offering works well at the top of the zone. Curveball at 62-65 mph shows sharp, downward bite when spun well. Has advanced feel for the pitch, creating plenty of depth. Will continue to refine consistency and command of both offerings. Good student. Named to the 13u/14u Sunshine Southwest Top Prospect List.
