2022 Carolina Top Prospect Games
Brendan Fulcher is a 2024 C/RHP/SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Albemarle, NC who attends Central Cabarrus. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good lower half flexibility and sets up low, compact arm action with good carry on his throws, still developing his fundamental consistency in his footwork and exchange, has the athletic tools to continue to improve with repetitions. Right handed hitter, hits from an exaggerated spread stance with a high hand start, gets to his front side aggressively, uphill swing plane, has good hand speed and flashed some power and carry. Also pitched, simple rocker step delivery, works from a 3/4's arm slot, low effort release out front. Fastball worked up to 82 mph, has more velocity in there. Slider was his best pitch this outing, has tight spin with some depth, was a swing and miss pitch when he landed it. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
