Nate Shoemaker is a 2025 SS/1B, OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Catalina Foothills. Recorded a 7.28 second 60-yard dash time. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned well throughout. Primary shortstop who profiles on a corner with continued added strength, shows sound fundamentals and has a solid arm with carry across on to first base, will continue to refine a consistent release point. Worked out at first base as well, shows arm strength on throws and moves well way from the bag while repeating actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance in the box, utilizes a small toe tap trigger for timing at the plate. Longer swing path through the zone and works on a linear path. Looks to incorporate physical strength and showed ability to drive the ball the other way when getting extended, projects well moving forward. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
