Bryan Mesa is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Edison. Long and athletic frame with easy physical projection. Ran a 7.57 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good under control actions and solid fundamentals, moves well to both sides with balance and clean glove, moves into his throws well with accuracy across. Pitched too, easy delivery, athletic mover and pounds zone with big run to the fastball. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup and moves the weight in well, easy bat speed with lots of looseness to the wrists and leverage without being super physical yet, hammered baseballs in game with a good approach, easy to project on the power upside and now hit tool. Selected to the 2023 13U PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
