Harrison Clymer is a 2007 LHP/OF with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Alpharetta GA, who attends Milton HS. He has an athletic body with wide, square shoulders and good present strength. Clymer is a live bodied and well coordinated athlete and graded out virtually the same on the mound, in the batter's box and in the field. On the mound, Clymer throws from a polished delivery with a smooth arm action and 3/4's release point. He topped out at 84 mph but his best pitch was a big, sharp breaking ball that he threw between 68 and 73 mph and worked with the depth and plane of the break. Clymer knows how to pitch, has good command and has the big hammer to get hitters out when he needs it. Offensively, Clymer hits out of an open stance from the right side (being a rare Hit Right/Throw Left player) with a flat, extended bat in back. He has quick hands and a solid line drive swing plane that stays on the ball for a long time. Clymer took aggressive swings against a couple of pitcher's touching 90 mph and had quality at bats. He's a 6.85 runner who shows his speed on the bases and in the outfield. In the right situation Clymer could be a very good two-way college player as he has the tools and knows how to play. He is a good student.
