Malachi Hayes is a 2024 3B/RHP, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Otto, NC who attends Franklin. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build. Ran a 8.14 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure to keep the play in front of him. Deep gather of the baseball in the stance before funneling it to the body. Quick transfer before throwing it 66 mph across the diamond. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Simple drop and drive mechanics as he proved he could repeat his actions. Shorter arm action as he filled up the zone with a running fastball. Topped out at 70 mph and it was the only pitched he utilized. Left-Handed Hitter, starting balanced before working into a shorter stride. Fires the hips as he throws the barrel into the baseball. Proved he could drive it to all fields on a line and had some pop to the pull-side when he timed it up properly. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
