2023 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Nick Scheer is a 2026 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 6-0 163 lb. frame from Turnersville, NJ who attends Paul Vi. Medium current frame with room to add physicality and plenty of time to do so. Primary position IF, showing decent foot work and good understanding of angles as he makes plays. Feels for the ball a bit but the glove secures the ball and leads to deep funnel. Short position appropriate arm action building velocities up to 72 mph across the diamond with solid accuracy. RHH working with an even base and exaggerated high hand set and high back elbow. Small stride to contact and hands work really well through impact. Flips the barrel trough and uses the middle of the field effectively. Good projection here as he add overall strength. Very good student as well.

Right Handed Hitting
Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
