Richard Piloto is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Monsignor Edward Pace. Medium athletic build with some strength for his age and size. 7.63 runner in the sixty. Has good footwork through the ball in the outfield and fields the ball cleanly, long and loose arm action with some arm strength, can do a better job of being directional and on line with his throws, showed his athleticism well defensively in the games. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a deep hand load, loads hard to his back side, pull and lift approach but did a good job of cutting his swing down with two strikes, has good hand quickness and some projection as a hitter. Also pitched, high leg raise delivery with a medium length arm action and a 3/4's arm slot, stays on line well and repeats his mechanics. Threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 75 mph, tends to slow his arm on a slow curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
