Nicholas McBride is a 2009 RHP/OF with a 6'4'', 172 lb. frame from Lewisville, NC who attends Ragsdale HS. Nick pitched in the upper 80's touching 90 at the Metrodome with a tall, very projectable frame. His fastball has good life and he commands all of his pitches. He shows a solid breaking ball and repeats his delivery well. McBride also has excellent outfield tools. He has a long loose arm in the outfield with good carry and he topped at 93 from the OF. He has plenty of speed, 6.69 60, to cover a lot of ground in the outfield. The ball comes off his bat well when centered and he shows hitting potential. He is also an outstanding student.
