David Bankston is a 2027 OF/RHP/C/IF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Ola. Medium, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball off to side, longer arm action through the back, keeps throws low and shows both strength and carry to the intended base. Glove plays in the infield, deliberate tempo to actions and shows sound funnel, effort on throws, will continue to refine footwork; arm played at first base, short steps on the approach, fields it out front with two hands. Also pitched, fuller arm action through the back side working to a high three-quarters release point; throws with intent gets mistimed on occasion, worked exclusively off of the fastball and topped out at 70 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Occasionally mistimed with front foot, shows some hand speed in swing, best when maintaining line plane, gets downward at times, comfort working to the middle of the field.
