Regan Cochran is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-7 133 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Pope. Recorded a 6.88 second 60-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with slender build. Right-handed hitter with an even base and high hand and back elbow set. Simple foot lift stride with some feel for the barrel present. Looked to shoot the ball the other way. Had a single in game. Primary outfielder with athletic actions and clean one-hand gather to exchange, high three-quarters release. Accurate, long hopped throws with carry, throws up to 79 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher works from the stretch only with a higher leg kick to balance, filled up the zone with a heavy dosage of fastballs up to 74 mph, spin rates up to 1810 RPM. Doesn't engage the lower half much down the slope, will see some more velocity as he continues to develop the mechanics. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
