Sam Elston is a 2024 OF/RHP, UT with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Chapel Hill, NC who attends Chapel Hill HS. Recorded a 7.48 second 60-yard dash time. Taller build with present strength and physicality. Primary outfielder with shorter strides and attacks the ball. Three-quarters slot with online throws up to 81 mph into the infield. Secondary right-handed pitcher who throws from the stretch only. Longer arm path and works down the mound with a shorter stride. Cutting life on the fastball and keeps it around the zone. Shows tilt to the slider but also has a bigger curveball. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and swings with intent. Some pre pitch hand movement but still has feel for the barrel. Fairly consistent swing with good present impact and power to the pull side. Great student.
