Granger Eady is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Winder, GA who attends Winder-Barrow. Ran a 8.27 second sixty-yard dash time. A primary catcher with an average frame and lean, athletic look. Behind the plate, sits in a low side-saddle stance, and displayed quick twitch actions to get out of his stance quick, replace his feet and produce throws to bases with carry and accuracy at 74-mph. Arm action is short and gets the ball out fast after a quick transfer, from a high slot, recording a 2.19 second pop time. A primary righthanded pitcher, featured a compact delivery with smooth mechanics and a clean arm action that delivered from a 3/4 slot. Maintained arm angle at release helping to tunnel his repertoire and add to his effectiveness on the mound. Worked down the mound straight towards the plate, with tempo and rhythm to his release, staying on time with his arm-action and extension out front. Featured a fastball up to 76-mph with slight arm-side run. Mixed in a secondary offering of a curveball that complemented welll and had some occasional depth with 11/5 shape at 64-mph. Switch hitter, with an open stance and hands set high in his setup on either side. Stays short through the hitting zone with a direct path to the ball, feel for the barrel and hand-eye coordination. Rhythm and timing in the box helped him capitalize on a pull-side approach, with evident feel for the barrel regardless of which side of the plate he is on. Developing power seen more prevalent on the right side with current skill set, with more of a backside release. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
