Victor Astacio is a 2023 SS/OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Goliath Academy. Large frame with a lean, athletic build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.89 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, quick first step proving to have lateral range. Deep gather at times as he scoops it up. Shuffles into transfer toward target. Accurate to the bag with throws up to 83 mph during drills. Secondary Outfielder, works into the baseball well before chopping the feet into the gather. Funnels it to the side and transfers quickly. Shorter arm stroke releasing from a higher slot. Throws up to 84 mph with accuracy to target. Left-Handed Hitter, high hands behind the ear while balanced to start. Fires the hands into a linear cut with good rhythm to the swing. Table setter type approach spraying it around the park on a line. Good Student.
